The Ospreys pack caused a few problems for the Blues at the scrum in the early stages as the Ospreys kept ball in hand to remain within the bBues half for sometime. However the Blues defence held firm and the Blues soon found their footing and drove play down field.

Eventually Gwernyfed’s young prop Lily Snape drove over for a try, which Brogan Jones converted.

Driving rain made play slow at times, but again the Blues held a 7-0 at the break.

The second half saw open play from both sides, we saw Amy Thomas make a run downfield for a great try under the posts.

The Blues finally secured victory when prop Lily Snape claimed her second try of the match.

Blues Team Manager Alan Roberts, said: “The girls have proved their ability and committment to play rugby at regional level and we look forward to travelling up to north Wales in February to take on Gogledd Cymru and the possiblity of gaining the Regional WRU U18’s Chapionship Title.”
