Wanderers seeking revenge

Glamorgan Wanderers are seeking to gain revenge over Cross Keys in the Principality Premiership after the Gwent outfit recorded a comfortable win when the sides last met three months ago.

“After the welcome distraction of the SWALEC cup Cross Keys will be a massive step up in intensity,” commented Wanderers coach Matthew Bolton.

“We were soundly beaten at Pandy Park but our young guns have come a long way in three months,” added backs coach Chris Ower.

After the victory over Corus the Wanderers are forced into one change in the backs. Lloyd Thomas is injured so Harry Trelawny moves to centre with Tom Rowlands starting at scrum half. Up front Lee Highgate is out with an ankle injury but the Wanderers are able to call upon Ben White who comes into the back row with the captaincy moving to Richard Thomas.

Try scorer Dan Crimmins continues at No8. On the bench newly signed prop Mel Lewis gets a place and one of last seasons youth stars Dan Richards also gets a place.
