Ower asks Wanderers to dig deep

In the backs Gareth Morris returns in the centre alongside young Jack Roberts who has been out with a long term injury.

Tim Cronin gets his first start at scrum half after impressing with the Developement squad recently while Varsity man of the match Tom Rowlands drops to the bench.

In the pack Lee Highgate returns to take over the captaincy in a potent back row that includes Nick Hampson and Josh Navidi who has recently been given a new Blues contract.

“We need to end the season on a high and I’m asking the players to really dig deep for the challenge of Bedwas,” commented coach Chris Ower.

“The return of Lee (Highgate) and Nick (Hampson) is a boost as we head into the final few games of the season, hopefully it will be a timely fillip for the squad,” added forwards coach Matthew Bolton.
