The 24-year-old Welsh wing scored an impressive 16 tries for the Dragons this term, entering himself into the record books as the region’s top try scorer in a season.

Adam Hughes was named Young Player of the Year and there were also awards for Wayne Evans, Ashley Smith, Aled Brew, Joe Bearman, Jason Tovey, Rhodri Gomer-Davies, Hugh Gustafson and Adam Jones who received their 50th caps for 50 starts (including appearances off the bench before half time).

Tom Willis was unable to attend as he was undergoing planned surgery on his knee so the Captain’s speech was made by Luke Charteris in his place. Charteris was also in receipt of an award as he and Steve Jones joined Jamie Ringer and Adam Black as the only players to receive caps for 100 starts for the region.
