Victory over Argentina at the Millennium Stadium seven days after success against England will send the squad to New Zealand in confident mood and Roberts believes the side can be proud of their recent performances.
“It’s another good win in another good test match,” he said after the game.
“It’s really pleasing to end the warm-up games with a win and we are scoring good tries which is what rugby is all about.
“We played some good rugby out there today and James Hook kicked well and things really came together.
“In the past we may have been guilty of losing these sort of games, but we were clinical and got the result we deserved and scored some nice tries along the way,
“But you can’t take anything away from Argentina. It was their first game together for a while and they caused us problems out there in patches.”
“We will have a look at the tape, review what worked and what didn’t, work hard and all the focus now will be on South Africa on September 11th.”
