In a game in which both sides scored two tries, Liam Hutchings and Chris Mathias crossing for the home side and Lee Evans and Andrew Rees-Spowart for the visitors, it was the boot of Waun outside half Jonny Davies that made the difference as he hit the mark with three penalties and two conversions.

Narberth made up for their opening round slip at Waunarlwydd as they hit back with seven tries in a 43-13 win over Tondu. The big wind played a huge part in proceedings and Narberth made the most of the elements after changing ends 13-12 in arrears.

There were five second half tries and Rhys Davies chipped in with four conversions. The home tries came from centre and skipper Steve Martin and wing Jonathan Morgan, who each scored twice, Alan Phillips, Mark Heywood and Andrew Davies.
Tondu had a try from Lloyd Elliot and eight points from the boot of Matthew Murphy.

Whitland ensured the Pembrokeshire flag was flying sky high as they clinched a superb 25-18 away win at Bonymaen. Scrum half Andrew Jenkins ran in two tries, full back Scott Newton landed four penalties and outside half Carwyn Jones kicked a drop goal, while Bonymaen had their Jones boys on the wings, Colin and Rob, to thank for their two tries.

A last gasp try from wing Kayne Hendrickson was enough to win the day for Llanharan at Llangennech, 20-16, as they outscored their hosts three tries to two. Tata Steel maintained their unbeaten run with a hard fought 13-12 home win over Bridgend Athletic, Sion Crocker and John Phillips crossing for tries.

The students of Uwic fell to their second successive defeat as they were beaten 21-12 in Ammanford. Despite matching their hosts with two tries, three penalties, two from Tom Marks and another from Carwyn Richards, proved the difference.
