Full-back Ceri Young, centre Matthew Edwards, wing Andrew Bevan, fly-half Devon Howells, prop Mike Hutchins and lock Keith Lauchlin all crossed to rack up a 47-17 drubbing.
Indiscipline cost Gilfach Goch as the high-flyers were battered by Ebbw Vale at Eugene Cross Park. The visitors conceded 21 points during the twenty minutes they had a man in the sin-bin, as some destructive scrummaging laid the platform for a six-try romp. Dan Deardon, Tom Daley and Ashely Sweet added tries to an electric hat-trick from winger Wes Cunliffe to ensure a 44-18 victory.
In-form Bargoed were pushed all the way at Mount Pleasant Park, Beddau outscoring them three tries to two. Ashley Coombes’ brace put the hosts in contention, but touch-downs from scrum-half Matthew Hutcheon and centre James Pizey combined with the unerring boot of Josh Prosser was enough to see the visitors to a 26-20 triumph.
Elsewhere, mid-table became much more compact as the three bottom sides registered their first wins of the season. Glamorgan Wanderers dispatched Blackwood 36-21, Rumney thrashed Tredegar 39-5 and Mountain Ash squeezed past Treorchy 17-16 thanks to a heroic last-minute drop-goal from Josh Lewis.

TATA Steel’s blistering start to the season was brought to a shuddering halt at the hands of Carmarthen Athletic.
The game seemed to be a tight affair at the break, David Lakin’s penalty for the hosts eclipsed by a bulldozing try for TATA flanker Andrew Llewellyn. But then the Athletic tight-five began to exert some dominance, leading to three second-half tries from wingers Neil Davies and Daniel Gravell and No8 Sam Smith and a final scoreline of 25-5 to the hosts.
At Newbridge Fields, Bridgend Athletic won a rip-roaring encounter by a single point against Narberth.
Otters winger Toni Bonnell sped to a hat-trick, but the hosts stayed in contention thanks to four penalties from Corey Butler and touch-downs for Lloyd Pemberton and Michael Powell. With the last play of the game called, the home side put the ball through the hands and Powell went over in the corner to reduce the deficit to just one point. In-form Corey Butler stepped up to the plate and slotted the conversion from the touchline to snatch a 28-27 victory.
Elsewhere, Bonymaen grabbed their first win of the season 21-11 over Llanharan, UWIC edged out Whitland 13-8, Llangennech beat Tondu 23-13 and Ammanford and Waunarlwydd remain unbeaten after a 10-10 draw.
