Luke Ford makes a timely return at centre for the pace-setters after suffering a shoulder injury in the season’s opener at Bedwas. Also back in the starting line up are prop James Reeves, lock Mike Collins (who will be making his 50th appearance) and flanker Lee Evans.

The Welsh All Blacks have so far beaten Bedwas away (28-20), Carmarthen Quins (44-5), Newport (36-16) and Tonmawr last week (46-6). They have scored 19 tries in their last three games but coaches Patrick Horgan and Richard Webster are mindful that Llandovery are a formidable force particularly on their own patch.

Patrick Horgan said, “It is nice to be top of the table but we all know it’s early days yet and we realise that we will have a definite challenge ahead of us at Llandovery who have made a good start themselves with just one narrow defeat at Llanelli and good wins over Cardiff, Aberavon and Bridgend.

“We never have an easy time up there and don’t expect one this time. They have a swift set of backs and always seem to have a few Scarlets in their ranks. It should be a good game, the weather is set fair and I know we will be taking strong support to Llandovery.”

Neath A.Jenkins; K.James, A.Bramwell, L.Ford, J.Davies; G.McCarthy, C.Morgans; O.Ford, A.James, J.Reeves; E.Evans, M.Collins; G.Gravell (captain), S.Jones, L.Evans
