Bedwas came out on top against Carmarthen with back-row veteran Deri Mattravers proving to be the inspiration with two tries. Rory Wood added another try while Rich Powell produced a virtuoso performance with the boot converting all three tries and four conversions.
The mid-table clash between Bridgend and Cardiff ended with the Blue & Blacks coming out on top. Cardiff’s centre pairing of Owen Williams and Richard Smith were lethal throughout the game with both players getting over the try line.
