Fellow Principality Premiership side Tonmawr informed Ponty officials on Friday night that they wouldn’t be able to raise a team for the cup clash, leading to the late cancellation of the fixture.
But home officials moved quickly to ensure their players and fans would still get a game and have arranged a friendly against near neighbours Llantrisant. The game will kick-off at 2.30pm and proceeds from the gate will go to the visiting team.
