Back three Rhys Ward Jones, James Olds and Jonathan Phillips each crossed once at Newbridge Fields, with outside half Steven Lewis and replacement winger Lyndsey McCausland also touching down. Lewis added 10 points with the boot.
Whitland, for whom the defeat signals a big blow to their promotion hopes, could only manage a Scott Newton converted try in reply, although the scoreline did not reflect what was a relatively evenly matched encounter.
Llangennech also wrapped up a big win as they dispatched Waunarlwydd 28-5, but missed out on a try bonus point. Outside half Richie Williams – who also kicked 14 of the hosts’ points – crossed for a five-pointer, as did centre Rhodri Jones and prop Dan Jacobs. Right wing Guy Jones made Waunarlwydd’s only mark on the score sheet.
