Ystrad are leading their division and have reached this stage after a superb 36-10 win at Cwmllynfell where Alex Webber crossed for a hat-trick of tries, converted four, and even had time to slot over a penalty.

Nant Conwy have always been one of the strongest sides in the North divisions and they are presently in second spot behind Caernarfon. They will certainly look forward to showing what they can do after defeating Two East’s Builth Wells 18-13 in the quarters.

Bethesda are the second One North side to make it this far and they have been drawn against Penallta of Two East.
Matthew Parry kicked Bethesda to a 34-6 win over Pontypool United by notching 19 points after the sides were 7-6 at the interval.

Penallta prevented Maesteg Quins from closing on a return to the Millennium Stadium after last year’s Bowl defeat, by winning 18-8 at Ystrad Fawr. They are going well in Two East and will hope to take that league form into the semi-final.

SWALEC Bowl

Surprise side Glyncoch of Six Central have been rewarded for their 18-16 victory over hot favourites Amman United by being drawn against Talywain of Four East.

Shaun Baggs struck six penalties to see his side through against Amman and his side will be looking for more of the same in the semi final.

Talywain ran in three tries as they defeated Dolgellau 18-11 and providing they do not give away too many penalties, will be looking for touchdowns to take them through to the final.

New Tredegar of Four East will be slight favourites in the other semi as they take on Tycroes from Five South West.
They edged home 22-17 in a tough quarter final tie at Resolven while Tycroes were also made to go all the way against Caerleon of Six East before getting through 27-24.
