William Rees-Hole has been suspended for two years after returning a sample test which revealed the presence of Clenbuterol, a prohibited substance which in turn constitutes as a Anti-Doping Rule Violation.

The player returned the positive test on Feburary 9, 2012 after being selected to provide a sample during a Newport RFC squad test.

UK Anti-Doping have specified that consequences of the rule violation is to be a two year period of Ineligibility which will expire at Midnight on 28 February 2014.

It should be noted that Mr Rees-Hole has been suspended since 29 February 2012 when the violation was first discovered.
