Croesy started strongly in the forwards and the numerous scrums soon took their toll on Gorseinon with the referee calling for uncontested scrums after 20 minutes for safety reasons.
Despite losing their advantage in the scrums, Croesy also dominated in open play with first half tries being scored by Sarah Thorne, Charlotte Kembrey and Hannah Roberts with Kerry Jenkins adding a conversion, giving the visitors a handy 0-17 halftime lead.
Gorseinon stuck to their guns and made great tackles in defence but could not stop the Croesy onslaught. Second half tries came through Natalie Price, her first in eight seasons, Charlotte Kembrey, Emily Smith and Danielle Gagne.
Croesy welcomed back Natalie Gray after breaking her collar bone against Caernarfon in the last game of last season.
Croesy next play home against Blaenau Gwent on Sunday 9th September. Kick off 2.30pm.
New players aged 11-17 and 18+ are welcome at training on Mondays and Thursdays 7.00pm, at Woodland Road Croesyceiliog. Contact Nicola Smith on 07725 828697 for more information.
