Llandovery were pushed all the way by the visitors, digging deep to come away with a 6-6 draw. Richard Powell kicked two penalties for Bedwas, one in each half, while Rhys Jones matched him with two for the home team, leaving  Llandovery top of the table with a game in hand.

At the other end of the table, Newport sealed an impressive five try win over Swansea, 39-17. Allan Alcourt, Adam Frampton, James Leadbeater, Will Richards and Brendan Lampitt crossed for tries and Tom Hancock kicked 10 points for Newport. Basement boys Swansea were no easy-beats and scored two tries of their own, fighting back from a 20-3 half-time deficit.

Bridgend edged away from the bottom after a tough 14-9 win over Aberavon. A solitary try from Hillier Rees and an impressive display from Jamie Murphy proved the difference. Murphy slotted one penalty and two drop goals to separate the teams. Craig Evans struck nine points for Aberavon.

Cardiff powered to a 25-12 victory over strugglers Neath. A brace from back row man Ellis Jenkins and an Aaron Fowler effort were the basis for the win. Gareth Davies chipped in with 10 points from the tee, although 10th placed Neath showed heart for Kevin James and then Rhys Jones to cross for tries.

Carmarthen Quins trumped Cross Keys as Jason Harris scored the only try of the game and was ably supported by three penalties from James Dickson. Cross Keys fought back through a Dorian Jones penalty, but went down 14-3.
