Bedwas welcome Scottish side Stirling County to the Bridge Field for their concluding home pool match in this season’s British and Irish Cup (KO 2.30pm).

Following their victory in Scotland last week Bedwas will be hoping to carry on where they left off and clinch another win on home soil.

Bedwas have made six changes to their starting XV. Stuart Thomas who missed last week’s trip returns at full back, Scott Williams comes in at inside centre in place of Matthew Pewtner who moves to the left wing while Dragon Liam Davies starts at scrum half having been on the bench last week.

Up front Dan Preece and Ian George rotate to the starting line up and bench and Sam Feehan starts at No 8 in place of Deri Mattravers.

On the replacements bench only Ian George and Mathew John remain from those who travelled to Scotland with recalls for Rhys Hutcherson, Tom Organ and Josh Davies.

Young Matthew Phelps who has impressed on permit from Abertillery at tight head prop and a welcome return from injury for Craig Lodge sees the bench complete.
