The win means that Tondu have extended their lead at the top of the table to 17 points after their closest rivals, Cwmllynfell, had a weekend off from league action, playing in the SWALEC Cup.
In the other First Division encounter, Ammanford overtook Kidwelly in the standings after their entertaining battle away to Skewen. Centre Chris Moore scored two tries which gave Ammanford the edge in a 35-29 result, leaving Skewen in the bottom three.
Meanwhile in Division Two, runners up Seven Sisters enjoyed yet another away victory. Their 24-18 win over Aberystwyth meant the gap between them and Builth Wells at the top is cut to just six points.
Builth Wells’s match against Maesteg was one of a large handful of games which were called off due to the bad weather conditions.
In the battle to avoid relegation, Taibach narrowly defeated last place Haverfordwest, 13-10. Penclawdd, who are also in the wrong side of the table, celebrated their fifth win of the season after beating highflyers Maesteg Quins 11-10.
In Division Three, the top two sides Amman United and Newcastle Emlyn endured tough challenges today and both saved face. United could only produce a 19-18 win over strugglers Lampeter while Emlyn won on their travels against fifth placed Llanelli Wanderers, 22-21.
Tycroes have now won 15 league matches on the trot after defeating Aberaeron 23-6 in Division Four while their closest rivals Llanydydder collected a bonus point victory against Furnace United.
However, the surprises from the fourth division came from the other side of the table where Neyland won their second match of the season, thrashing Laugharne 40-13 – while second-from-bottom Burry Port beat Trimsaran 16-14. Although both sides have a long way to catch up with the teams above them, next week sees them play against each other.
