Hot on the heels of Cory Allan claiming the coveted accolade in Hong Kong, the Ystradd Rhondda speedster produced a dazzling finish against Kenya in the sixth minute of the second half in the final pool game at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground to guide Wales to a comfortable 33-15 victory.
With 44% of the vote, Webber’s try for Wales against Kenya was easily the top choice by fans.
After reaching the final in Hong Kong, Wales failed to reach similar heights in the seventh leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Japan, eventually bowing out to England in the Bowl semi-final to slip back to seventh place in the over-all standings.
