After putting a remarkable 80 points on Bridgend College last week, Cymoedd certainly look the team to beat but face a tricky trip to Parc Eirias in Colwyn Bay.

In their debut season in the competition, Llandrillo have impressed but know a meeting with Cymoedd will certainly test them to the full. For tomorrow’s game, Llandrillo field a familiar looking side. Morgan Williams, Ryan Pike and Aled Davies provide plenty of firepower out wide while Josh Leach’s forwards know they will have to match Cymoedd up front. Mike Williams, Dan Colclough and Zack Roberts will be tasked with taking on the power of the Cymoedd pack at scrum time.

Under head coach Clive Jones, Cymoedd have swept all before them and they have the usual suspects available for the trip north. Liam Belcher and Kieran Assaratti provide plenty of power in the front row with Jared Evans controlling things at fly half. Kurtis Williams, Lewis Morgan, Harri Millard and Ellis Wyn Benham provide a real threat out wide.

Elsewhere in the Cup competition, Coleg Gwent and Bridgend College meet at Waunfawr Park, Cross Keys with Bridgend looking to bounce back from their defeat to Cymoedd. Coleg Sir Gar, who have lost their last three, host Neath Port Talbot College hoping home advantage will see them back to winning ways.

This week’s televised match sees Llandovery College host Newport High School. Wednesday’s fixture can be seen live via the S4C website with highlights available on Rygbi Pawb later that evening at 11.10pm.

Both Llandovery and Gower College are competing towards the top of the Trophy competition and know wins are vital this week. Gower face a trip to Neyland to face Pembrokeshire Schools.
