Pugh to offer top Sevens tips in North Wales

World Cup Sevens winner Richie Pugh, now coach to the Welsh Women’s Sevens side, will lead an Open Sevens Skills session for Senior Women’s players age 18 on or before 1 September, 2014 at Parc Eirias, Colwyn Bay on Tuesday, 29 April.

Joining him in offering advice to ALL players in North Wales will be the Welsh Women’s Conditioning Coach, Sam Dodge. The night will consist of Sevens specific skills and coknditioning.

The evening is open to ALL players regadless of whether or not they have played Sevens or not! It is an opportunity to understand what the game is about and give it a go! Please make sure you state on your application your XV’s and Sevens experience. 

These are NOT trials, however, if any players show they have the talent required to represent Wales at Sevens they may be invited back to train with the squad. 

Date: Tuesday 29th April
Time: 1900 START 2100 Finish approx.
Venue: Parc Eiras (time will be split between indoor barn and pitch so bring appropriate kit and footwear) (Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, LL29 7SP)
