The city centre venue will provide entertainment via a DJ Truck and resident DJs throughout the day-long event at the BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park. It will also host the Official Foster’s 7s After Party at Tiger Tiger, with free entry to Foster’s National Sevens ticket holders.
Holders Pontypridd take on rivals Cross Keys at 10.20 to kick off a whole day of top quality rugby sevens action, followed by Cardiff Met v Ebbw Vale, Bridgend v Swansea and Llanelli v RGC 1404, home club Cardiff facing last year’s losing finalists Llandovery in the final game of Round One at 12.40. There is also a Plate competition for Round One losers, the Plate Final kicking off at 18.10 and the Cup Final scheduled for 18.40.

Watkins and Dafydd James will captain the sides, while Tom Shanklin, Nathan Brew, Nathan Thomas, Gavin Thomas, Rhodri Gomer-Davies are among those who will feature, and many others including Matthew Rees who recently overcame testicular cancer will be supporting from the stand.
There is a beach-themed fancy dress competition, with the best dressed invited to take part in a kicking contest to win tickets for Wales v Australia on November 8.
Benn Morris, Business Development Manager, Heineken UK said, “Foster’s, in partnership with the WRU are excited to support this great rugby occasion and to provide a great, fun consumer experience. Foster’s 7s – A Good Call!”
