After an impressive win last Saturday at Aberavon, Keys will be looking to continue their winning run and continue a solid start to the season.

Keys make a total of seven changes to the starting line-up for this week’s game. Keys are able to call up on the services of Rhys Jones at outside half, as both younger brother Dorian and Angus O’Brien are involved for the Dragons at Glasgow.

Keys change just two in the pack with Darren Hughes and Reuben Tucker return at hooker and blindside flanker respectively.

The new names on the bench are second row Simon Williams, who signed from Aberavon a few weeks ago and back row Jack Condy, who featured for Keys on permit from Penallta towards the end of last season but signed a permanent deal with Keys over the summer.

Bedwas Head Coach Steve Law also rings the changes as his side make the short journey to neighbours Cross Keys.

“We did some good things and some very silly things last week,” lamented Law.

“Cross Keys as always will provide stern opposition, nobody’s hitting the panic button yet, the boys are focussed on the task ahead.”

Lewis Bowden (on permit from Senghenydd) comes in to the backline to make his first start for Bedwas, Joe Smith starts at scrum half and Matthew John comes in at left wing replacing Rory Budina who drops to the bench.

Up front Dan Crimmins comes in at Number 8 with James Thomas moving to blind side flanker instead of Alwyn Lee who moves to second row. Matthew Pettit, Rhys Hutcherson and Dan Preece all come in as Law shuffles his front row options.
