The fixture was originally set for Sunday, but has been rescheduled following discussions between the clubs and the WRU.
The match is likely to be hotly contested. Current leaders Pontypridd will be keen to hold on to their unbeaten record in this season’s Premiership. Meanwhile Llanelli, who currently hold 5thplace in the table, will be buoyed by their bonus point home win over Aberavon last week.
The last meeting of the two clubs ended in a 29-5 thrashing of Pontypridd at Parc y Scarlets.
Ponty Team Manager Richard Langmead said of the upcoming match: “It will be a tough challenge to face Llanelli, coming off the back of two demanding away games at Llandovery and Ebbw Vale which stretched our squad to the limit.
“We came out of those games with two victories, but that will count for little if we can’t replicate the performances and get the same result against Llanelli.”
