Young Quins seek improvement

Carmarthen Quins welcome Cardiff to the Park in the sixth round of the Principality Premiership (KO 1.30pm).

Cardiff are currently in 6th position on 15 points with three wins out of five. Carmarthen have dropped to 9th position on seven points with just one win out of five. Last season honours were even between the clubs with each side winning their respective home fixture.

The Quins have lost two out of three home fixtures and despite a promising start and going ahead against Llanelli last week their performance ultimately fell short.

Carmarthen Quins are a young squad with plenty of potential and the coaching team believe they will only get better with experience. Other than the Pontypridd game there has not been a lot in the scores and a good performance against the Blue and Blacks at home will be welcomed by all concerned at the club.

As stated the kick-off has been moved forward to 1.30pm and with the Wales v Australia game on at 4.45pm it should be an excellent day of rugby at Carmarthen Quins RFC.
