Tom Hiscox, Ben Murphy and Alex Howman followed in the second half to complete a 33-14 victory over Newbridge, who saw captain Leigh Meades and Josh Hurley cross.
Swansea were able to take advantage of Pontypool’s game being postponed and took second place in the table with a 27-13 win over Newcastle Emlyn. A Man of the Match performance from Scott Maynard inspired the All Whites.
The scrum-half scored two tries while Liam Popham and Will Lewis followed to complete a bonus-point win before Newcastle Emlyn claimed a late consolation try at St Helen’s.
Newbridge were the biggest winners of the day. They swept aside Llanharan 50-3 and climbed six places to eighth place in the process.
Gerwyn Davies scored twice in the first half along with efforts from Kyle Tayler and Lewis Hudd. Matt McGovern, Hudd, Lloyd Peart and Ethan Doyle added a further four tries in the second half in a one-sided contest.
Tata Steel may have made a poor start to the season and remain in the relegation zone but are now just a point behind Glynneath and the safety of 12th place with a 26-15 win over Beddau. Andrew Healy scored twice and David Griggs also touched down for The Saints while Liam Gagg also managed a drop goal.
That marked a fourth defeat in a row for fifth-placed Beddau who are in growing danger of losing ground on the leading pack.
