The teams will be coached by the new national staff. Celts will be Head Coached by Dean Ronan (Set Piece) assisted by Grant Robson (Skills Coach) while the the Warriors will be Head Coached by Rhys Roberts (Defence) assisted by Gwesyn Price-Jones (Dragons Women HC).

“This is the first time we have ever had this type of fixture and it’s an opportunity for the players to have a final chance to put their hands up for selection,” said Edwards.

The two squads have been selected following the regional programme. Edwards will be announcing his Six Nations squad on Wednesday.

The national squad will then go into camp the following weekend in preparation for the Six Nations.
