Know your Periscope from your Snapchat, your Flickr from your Twitter? We’re looking for a bright social media savvy self-starter to help us with our social media output during our RBS 6 Nations campaign.

The 8-10 week paid placement is ideal for a rugby enthusiast looking to gain some experience of social media, communications and marketing in a business context.

Key skills requirements:

  • Desire to work in digital communications in sporting industry
  • Passion for digital media
  • Understanding and experience using
    • Website content management systems
    • Multi social media platforms
    • Recording and editing video packages
    • Picture editing tools
    • Using digital media analytical tools
    • Understanding the use of digital communications in the wider communications mix

Aim of role:
To increase the quality, reach and engagement of the WRU’s digital output during the 2016 RBS 6 Nations campaign.
 
Role to include:
·      Planning and creating social media content whilst improving quality, reach and engagement across WRU channels
·      Reporting and measuring the impact and effectiveness of WRU online presence
