The Principality Premiership clash pits the current bottom two of the division against one another as they battle it out to improve their final league position without the threat of relegation. Bridgend have Carmarthen Quins in their sights and know a win is almost essential if they are to finish above the West Wales side.

The squad sees a number of changes, both due to injury and tactical. Marc Bennett continues at full back as Ryan Griffiths comes back onto the wing, pairing up with last weeks double try scoring flier Mike Powell. The youthful midfield of Joseph Gatt and Morgan Jones gets another opportunity to impress at Premiership level, with the ever reliable Joseph Scrivens joined by Will Baird at half back.

In the pack, Marc Thomas comes back in at loosehead. He is joined by Iestyn Merriman and Cai Lewis in the front row. Youngster Jack Pope and Kyle Evans are in the second row. The back row comprises of Gareth Beer, Adam O’Driscoll and Ashton Evans.
