The 28-year-old lock has spent the last three seasons with Bedwas, making 35 appearances for the Gwent club, but has moved back to his hometown club.

Maiden, who has also played for Pontypool, is already impressed by what he has seen at the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field and is raring to go as they build towards their pre-season opener against Beddau on August 13.
“I am absolutely over the moon to be returning to the Bridgend Ford Brewery Field. It’s something I have always wanted to do one day,” he told the club website.
“From the first few training sessions I have already noticed that there is a great team spirit in the squad and that is going to be important throughout the season.
“I can’t wait to get going again this year. I am really looking forward to playing in front of the Bridgend supporters again. They stick with the team regardless of the results, but as a squad we are looking forward to giving them some more to cheer about.”
Ravens director of rugby Wayne Hall believes Maiden’s experience will be a real asset to the club as they look to improve on last season’s 10th place finish.
“Kyle will bring leadership and an ability to lead the line-out to the squad,” he said. “He has already made a great contribution during his short time back in camp and we look forward to that continuing throughout the season.”
