The former Wales U21 and Wales World Cup Sevens scrum half has just been made captain of the English Championship club and will have a further seven Welsh-qualified players in his squad for the new campaign.
Ealing also have former Dragons and Wales wing Will Harries in their ranks, ex-Cross Keys and Wales Students centre James Cordy-Redden, Wales U20 caps Rhys Lawrence and Josh Davies, twin locks Carwyn and Llewellyn Jones and former Bridgend and Newport flanker Arthur Ellis.
Walker joined the club from Cardiff Blues in 2014 and quickly established himself as first-choice scrum-half. He continued as first choice in the 2015-16 Championship season, when he made 22 appearances and was also named Supporters’ player of the Year for a second consecutive season having also won the Man of Steel Award for best defensive player in his debut season.
“Alex has been at the club for a couple of seasons and has always performed to a high level whenever he has pulled on the jersey. His professionalism has shone throughout pre-season on and off the pitch,” said Ealing director of rugby Dan Ward.
“He is always one of the first to arrive every morning, works hard every day and cares about the club. He was the outstanding candidate to represent the values that as a group we want to be known for.”
