Tata lead the table on points differential from the only other undefeated side, Pontypool, and will be looking to stay ahead of the pack against a side that has won its last two games by a single point and triumphed in three of the four games to date since climbing out of Division 1 West Central.
You have to go back 15 seasons since Pontypool and Dunvant last met in a league match. That was in the 2001/02 campaign, when Pooler won 28-17 on 20 October, 2001, at Pontypool Park and then romped to an impressive 60-15 victory at Broadacre on 9 February 2002.
With Tata Steel and Pontypool tied on four wins, 19 points, and the same number of tries, every point and try will count in the battle to take top spot this weekend. Dunvant won the Division 1 West title last season and enjoyed a 23-0 home win in round one, but have lost their last three outings.
The Wanderers are seeking their first win since returning to the Championship after winning Division 1 Central and welcome Narberth to the Memorial Ground. Having started the season with a 6-6 draw at Bedlinog, the Wanderers have suffered three agonisingly close defeats, with a mere seven points separating them from three wins.
The good news is that their development side are unbeaten and one of those players challenging for a first-team place, flanker Jake Thomas, is one of four changes to the side pipped at Skewen last weekend. Rob Weston returns at No 8, Matt Arnold regains the No 15 jersey and Wales Under 18 cap Owen Lane starts at outside centre.
Beddau travel to Cyncoed to face the students of Cardiff Met hoping to build on their 69-3 home win over Newcastle Emlyn last weekend. There were 29 points from Hywel Chatham, who converted all nine tries as he passed 50 points for the season.
Emlyn host Newbridge, who picked up their first win of the season last weekend, while Bedlinog host Glynneath.
