Nigel Owens will take charge of an uncapped game between the Barbarians and New Zealand at Twickenham on November 4 and a week later he will return to the same venue, alongside Dan Jones, to run the line for England’s clash against Australia.
Ben Whitehouse will also be travelling down the M4 to be Owen’s assistant for the BaaBaas.
Ian Davies travels to Dublin on November 11 to be an assistant for Ireland’s encounter against South Africa. On the same weekend, Whitehouse takes charge of the clash between Georgia and Canada where Craig Evans will be one of his assistants and Neil Hennessy will be the TMO.
Owens will add to his record tally of caps when he takes charge of the encounter at Stade de France between the Tricolours and South Africa on November 18.
On the same weekend Davies will be in Edinburgh to be an assistant when Scotland host New Zealand and a week later he will fill a similar role when Romania take on Tonga.
Evans will run the line in Toulouse when Japan tackle Tonga at Stade Ernest Wallon with Jon Mason acting as the TMO.
Jones will also be busy that weekend, being an assistant in Bucharest where Romania host Samoa. A week later he will take charge of Germany’s clash against Chile in Offenbach. A week earlier Whitehouse will be an assistant for Germany’s game against USA in Wiesbaden.
Owens and Evans cap the appointments off on November 25 when they will be at Twickenham for the England match against Samoa, where they will both be referee assistants.
WRU match officials’ manager, Paul Adams, said: “We’re very pleased to see so many of our referees secure international appointments over the autumn period. It shows all the hard work they are putting in is being rewarded at the highest level.”
