Cymoedd topped the table after 12 rounds in the regular league season to earn home advantage. Now they will be hoping to stay on course for another final appearance and the chance to avenge their defeat to Coleg Sir Gar in last season’s final.
The reigning champions travel to Ystrad Mynach to meet Coleg Gwent in the second semi-final on Wednesday, 14 February. Sir Gar lost twice and drew another of their 12 matches to just miss out on a home semi-final.
Cymoedd came out on top 43-12 when they travelled to Cardiff to meet Glantaf last month in a game that was hit by Regional Age Grade call-ups. Having reached the second tier final last year, Glantaf will be hoping to go one better in their televised game (S4C Facebook).
Coleg Gwent will go into their home game against the champions on the back of seven successive wins, although mindful they were beaten 18-3 by Sir Gar away from home.
