The Exiles are currently six points clear in the race for a fifth successive promotion having won 13 of their 14 games to date this season. Their only reverse to date being a 29-26 defeat at Guildford on 4 December.

Camberley will travel full of confidence and as the highest points scorers in London 1 South despite suffering two defeats. Their points tally has been aided by two massive victories over London Irish (89-0) and Chichester (51-0).

With a five year unbeaten home record to protect, London Welsh will be hoping to rise to the occasion to put even clearer daylight between themselves and their biggest title rivals. Third-placed Medway are 10 behinds behind the leaders.

When the two teams met in Camberley the Exiles scored three tries in a 27-19 win. The home side had to play the whole of the second half on that occasion with 14 men after losing a player to a red card.

Director of Rugby Cai Griffiths has chopped and changed his team of late with a view to having his best starting XV fit and ready for this weekend’s battle. Welsh U20 cap Rhys Howells came through last weekend’s 46-17 win at Cobham and captain Chris Lilly is ready to return after injury.
