Two games in four days at the home of Welsh rugby will be a huge honour for the talented trio, who were part of the all-conquering Builth Wells team that won the National Youth Cup Final on Saturday.
The young Bulls were convincing 44-17 winners over Bridgend Athletic and both Williams, who switches from centre to full back, and back row powerhouse Coyle were among the try scorers as they completed an unbeaten season. That includes winning the East Wales Premier U18 league with a perfect nine out of nine record.
Christ College are also unbeaten to date and reached the final by beating Bishop of Llandaff (64-10), Cardiff HS (32-3), Treorchy Comprehensive (24-19) and Coleg Sir Gar II (37-0). Ysgol Ystalyfera reached the final with big wins over Dyffryn Taf (51-0), Plasmawr (55-5) and Ysgol Preseli (47-17).
The latest big day of finals in the Welsh capital kicks-off with Stanwell Comprehensive, from Penarth, against Ysgol Penweddig, from Aberystwyth in the U18 Plate Final. Penweddig were promoted into the final despite losing to Llandovery College in the semi-finals.
Stanwell edged out Bro Edern 19-17 in a thrilling semi-final and also knocked out Y Dderwen (24-17) and Llangynwyd (31-0). Penweddig beat Dyffryn Aman (22-5) in the quarter-final. The U18 Circle IT Vase Final features Preseli against Coleg Sir Gar 2nd XV.
Llandovery College’s women’s team will meet Coleg Gwent in the 12-a-side Celtic Camping Trophy Final before the showpiece final between Christ College and Ystalyfera at 5.10pm.
