The unbeaten league leaders made up their extra game and stayed on course for a potential league and cup double. Pooler have certainly established themselves as the team to beat and look right on course of promotion this season.
It was 35-0 at the break with the bonus-point already secured and Keys finally got on the scoreboard early in the second half with a try from centre Adam Tetley that was converted. From there on it was business as usual for Pooler, who added two more tries.
Mathew Powell and Peter Lloyd both scored two tries and the others came from Dai Langdon, Amosa Nove and Pat Lewis. Matthew Jarvis converted all seven.
Ystrad Rhondda followed up their recent success in reaching the semi-finals of the WRU Championship Cup, when they beat Bedwas 15-12, by putting the students of Cardiff Met to the sword. The home side ran out convincing 36-5 winners.
They ran in half-a-dozen tries and added three conversions to move to within three points of the Archers with three games in hand. Cavan Davies, Kurtis Williams, Callum Phillips, Rhys Dauncey, Josh Williams and Cobi Green score their tries and Rhys Truelove (2) and Jacob Symes kicked the goals.
Bedwas recovered their poise to pip Trebanos 17-13, while Bargoed got the better of Tata Steel on the road with a 45-28 triumph.
Ammanford went to the top of the table in Division 1 West Central with their 33-21 win at Birchgrove, while Rumney stayed in the hunt for the Division 1 East Central title with an impressive 24-13 win at another team with promotion in their sights, Mountain Ash.
There was also a share of the points in East Central for Ynysybwl and Rhiwbina after their 10-10 draw.
