Matthew Jarvis helped himself to 26 points with the boot as he converted 13 of the tries and he also chipped in with the final try to take his personal match tally up to 31. He also sent in Amosa Nove for try No 15 that meant Pooler hit the century mark.
But while there were tries galore at Pontypool Park, third-placed Bargoed, the reigning champions, were gearing up nicely for their tilt at toppling the unbeaten league leaders with a 59-7 win over Cross Keys at Pandy Park.
When the two teams met at Pontypool Park earlier in the season it ended 39-27 to Pooler. They also came out on top in the Championship Cup, winning 29-23 at Bargoed Park.
A hat-trick would give them the perfect boost ahead of their WRU Championship C up final clash with Ystrad Rhondda at Principality Stadium on 23 April.
Duan Thomas helped himself to three of the 16 tries against the Wanderers and there were two each for lock Ashley Sweet and centre Deon Smith. The Wanderers had tries from Max Surry and Theo Shinton, as well as a Tommy Taylor conversion.
The win made it 17 in a row for unbeaten Pontypool, who top the table with 84 points. Neath are second with the same number of points, but having played two games more.
The Welsh All Blacks also put their opponents to the sword, winning 58-15 over bottom of the table Tata Steel at The Gnoll. Having gone behind to an early penalty for the visitors, Neath ran in 10 tries in all with Llewellyn Hawkes helping himself to a hat-trick.
Dyfan Ceredig scored two and others came from Ioan Jones, Evan Kneath, Matt Davies, Ben Atkins and Sean Wilcox. Rhys Harris added two conversions, as did Steff Williams.
Bedwas notched eight tries in their 52-17 victory at Ystalyfera with hooker and skipper Dale Rogers among the scorers. Fellow pack members Harry Oliver and Lewis Crane also got on the scoresheet.
Scrum half Callaghan Smith and three quarters Same George, Liam Jenkins and wing Corey Jenkins, with two, also cashed in. Outside half Lloyd Wilkins kicked six conversions.
Third placed Bargoed were also among the tries as they triumphed 59-7 at Cross Keys. Early tries from Wade Langley, James Leadbeater, Dylan Williams and Ollie Andrews, three of which Josh Prosser improved saw the Bulls speed into a 26-0 interval lead.
The job was completed with further tries from Williams, to complete his hat-trick, Leadbetter with his second, Kyle Bailey and Dai Evans. Matthew Lewis converted four of them. Connah Vaughan scored the only Keys try, which Lewis Pryce-Jones converted.
Narberth ran out 42-5 winners at Maesteg Quins while WRU Championship Cup finalists Ystrad Rhondda had to pull out all the stops to win 26-23 at Trebanos. Josh Williams, Kurtis Wiuiulliams, Liam Wiggins and Corben Evans crossed for the tries that earned Ystrad a bonus-point, while Josh Williams converted three of them.
