Back chasing more glory against Islwyn Schools will be Pontyclun skipper Reeve Tucker, Liam Jones, Hudson Bowen, Sonny Wheeler, Lucas Waters, Taylor Theaker, Ruan Dyer and Archie Theaker.
Another person chasing more medals at Principality Stadium will be one of the coaches to the Islwyn Schools side, Simon Veall. He was at outside half in the Newbridge team that won the Division 1 title last weekend and is joined in the coaching role by Robert Coles, who recently returned from the Deaf World Cup in Argentina, where he helped Wales become world champions.
Five of the Islwyn squad were in the team that drew 3-3 with Bridgend Schools in the Plate final last year.
Meanwhile, in the DC Thomas Plate final, the son of another famous father, Ellistan Czekaj is included in the Cardiff Schools side to take on Bridgend Schools. His dad, Chris, played on the wing for Cardiff Blues and Wales
