Jones is leading the way in line-breaks and has brushed aside more defenders than any other player in the Indigo Premiership after two rounds of action.
He has made four line-breaks to edge out Llandovery’s Harry Doel and Pontypool youngster Huw Anderson who have made three while Lewis Lloyd (Newport) and Reuben Tucker (Bridgend) have pierced the line on two occasions in matches where defences have been extremely tight.
Jones has already reached double figures when it comes to beating defenders. The Wizards winger has beaten 13 players with Doel his nearest challenger with nine. Aberavon’s Jay Baker and Cardiff RFC’s Luke Pollock are next in line with eight.
Bridgend fly half Luke Price (31) is the leading points scorer after two rounds of action, but Carmarthen Quins’ Jac Wilson is the only player to possess a 100 per cent success rate with his collection of 25 points. He sits in third place on the points table, just one point behind Llandovery’s Jack Maynard.
