What a difference a week makes! Seven days on from being knocked out of the WRU Premiership Cup by Cross Keys after extra-time they took perfect revenge with a 73-0 revenge win in the league at Pandy Park.

The visitors ran in 11 tries and kicked nine conversions to put the pressure on league leaders Pontypridd. Their five-point haul closed the gap at the top to four points with a game in hand.

The Ironmen’s next game will be at Sardis Road against the league leaders in a clash that could decide who wins the title. There were two tries each for prop Travis Hawkins, outside half Ben Jones, wing Jack Kathrens and centre Cole Swannack.
The other tries came from hooker Ellis Shipp, replacement Dafydd Thomas and scrum half Daf Land. Jones kicked nine conversions for a match haul of 28 points.
Narberth were looking to move out of the relegation zone against Neath but fell to a 31-21 home defeat. That made it seven defeats in a row for the Otters.
Narberth tries came from Matthew John, Dean James and Lucca Setaro, whole Neath had two from Iestyn Morgan and one apiece for Tarik Dabeh, Casey Williams and Ben Uphill to bag a bonus-point.
Brecon overtook the students of Cardiff Met and climbed two places in the tab le thanks to a spectacular 41-39 victory at Cyncoed. Josh Carrington (2), Tom Howlett, Ioan Evans and Ben Parsons scored the home tries with 14 points coming from the boot of Ross McKay.
Centre Tom Richards took a starring role for the visitors as he scored a hat-trick, while No 8 Logan McIntosh picked up a brace. Replacement Jack Griffiths also grabbed a try, while outside half James Dixon kicked four conversions and a penalty.

Cardiff Met are back in action on Friday night when they head to Ystrad Rhondda. On the same night the league leaders Pontypridd are at Bonymaen.
