The flanker scored two of his side’s four tries in the win as the Blues overturned a 13-3 deficit to run out comfortable winners and was delighted with his afternoon’s work.
Williams said: “You can’t ask for more than a bonus point win to start. Bristol put us under a lot of pressure in the first half and they played the game in all the right areas and we were happy to be only two points behind at half-time.
“We tightened up in the second-half and started to play in the right areas ourselves and I think the sin bin was the turning point in the game. We can look forward to Harlequins next week now.”
