The Disciplinary Panel decided to uphold the red card decision but ruled that the incident did not merit any further punishment against the player.

During their deliberations the Disciplinary Panel studied video evidence from a variety of angles which highlighted the 75th minute incident in which Tito and Dragons No.8 Joe Bearman were dismissed for fighting by WRU referee Hugh Watkins.

Bearman was not available to attend the hearing in Cardiff and will be called before the Disciplinary Panel on Monday December 31st.

Speaking after the hearing Cardiff Blues Director of Rugby David Young said, “We are pleased with the decision taken by the Disciplinary Panel and that Paul will be available for some big matches coming up over the forthcoming weeks.”

Blues flanker Ben White and Dragons scrum half Wayne Evans have both been cited by the Independent Citing Commissioner in the same game. They will both appear at the same hearing on Monday.
