Less than 1,000 tickets are still for sale as the big game on February 9th is now just 23 days away.
Demand has surged after the announcement of new Head Coach Warren Gatland’s first squad which features the Ospreys flanker Ryan Jones as skipper and the return to international rugby of Martyn Williams.
The Welsh Rugby Union offered RBS Six Nations tickets for public sale this season in a bid to ensure that as many supporters as possible get the chance to see Wales in action at home.
Some tickets are still available for the Italy game in Cardiff but fans have homed in on Scotland early to make sure of a seat in the stadium.
Julie Paterson, Head of Group Compliance, said: “The innovative policy of putting tickets on public sale has really been appreciated by supporters.
“We have had a lot of positive feedback and sales have been excellent which means we are heading for sell-out crowds.
“The Scotland game is the first home match with Warren Gatland in charge and it is clear the Welsh fans want to give him a mighty welcome to Wales.”
Tickets are available online via Ticketmaster on www.ticketmaster.co.uk (shortcut: www.wru.co.uk/rbstickets) or by calling the Millennium Stadium ticket hotline on 08705 582 582. Personal callers can go to Ticketline, 47 Westgate Street, Cardiff.
