Hailing from Aberdare, the 23- year-old Bramwell has represented his country at all Youth levels – Under 16s, U18s, U19s and then at U21 level – and is a member of the highly successful Wales Sevens squad of 2009.
Having previously played for Neath, Bramwell now joins up with Pontypridd from Ebbw Vale. Recognised as a skilful and creative three-quarter, who has covered the full back and centre, and an accurate kicker from hand and at goal, Bramwell was elected Principality Player of the Month in October 2008.
Pontypridd team manager Richard Langmead is delighted with the signing of another quality player to his squad.
“Aaron comes to us as a young player who already has a fine pedigree in the game at club and international level” said Langmead.
“Speed, strength, a great awareness and excellent kicking qualities are his attributes, which are the essentials of the number ten’s game.
“We are committed to building a strong squad at Pontypridd to take us into the challenges of the season to come, and the signing of Aaron Bramwell is another big step in that direction”.
