Twenty teams have entered the U15s competition while 16 teams have entered the U16s competition.
Across the region and Wales as a whole, there are issues concerning player retention at U15 and U16 age groups. In an attempt to maintain and stimulate numbers at these age groups the Ospreys Cup will continue for a fourth year in succession.
For the younger age groups at U12 to U14 there will be local festivals that offer more age appropriate playing opportunities. These will be on a District-by-District basis and be organized by the Junior District Association and local rugby development officers
