Felinfoel feeling fine after big cup win

In the SWALEC Plate third round matches, Felinfoel of Division Two West delighted their fans with a 15-3 win over Division One West rivals, Carmarthen Athletic. Felinfoel’s two tries came from Curtis Morris and their No 8, Stu Taylor.

Another big surprise happened in Taibach. The Division Two West side, who have only won two league matches so far this season, edged Division One East side, Gilfach Goch out of the cup with the result ending 22-17.

In other results, Builth Wells travelled to North Wales with the result they wanted after beating Nant Conwy 10-3. Waunarlwydd beat Ammanford 43-13, Cwmllynfell powered there way to round four with a 42-14 away win over Pontarddulais, Loughor beat Neath Athletic 14-7 and finally, Pwllheli overcame the challenge of Bro Ffestiniog in a 25-5 win.

Three games in the fourth round of the SWALEC Bowl took place on Saturday with Fishguard beating Aberaeron 15-6, Penlan winning away to Trimsaran 17-14 while Tycroes comfortably beat Llanydydder 22-10.
