Played throughout in appalling weather conditions both sides attempted to play running rugby but the greasy conditions make attacking rugby a lottery.

Josh Lewis opened the scoring with a penalty and then two tries from veteran hooker Craig Hawkins and man of the match Rhodri Jones looked as if the floodgates might open for the home team.

However the Wizards showed their consistent Premiership Pedigree and maybe were unlucky only to have three points to their name from a Paul Smithson penalty .

In a similar second half period, Lewis opened the scoring with another fine penalty  and talented scrum half Aled Davies touched down, Lewis  again converted , in what was a comfortable home win for the hosts.
