Director of Rugby Lyn Jones has drafted in Morgan and two other new recruits for the tournament, which sees them start against Newcastle Falcons at 7.15pm. Morgan has replaced the injured Elliot Frewen, while James Cordy-Redden and Angus O’Brien have taken over from James Benjamin and Harris Keddie.

Cordy-Redden, who currently plays for Cross Keys, is another player with sevens experience through playing for Crawshays 7s and Great Britain Students 7s, while O’Brien was a reserve for the Welsh leg of the tournament.

Welsh Sevens caps Rhys Jones and Sam Cross will spearhead the Dragons challenge and Lyn Jones will be delighted that the experienced Matthew Pewtner has overcome the knee injury he sustained during the Welsh leg of the tournament.
