The hosts ran out comprehensive 57-0 winners, scoring seven tries in the process, ending Betwys’ winning run. Briton Ferry defeated Tonna in the Swalec Bowl, in a stop-start performance.

Briton Ferry ran out 12-10 victors in a hard fought game, despite having thirteen players unavailable for selection. Ynysybwl defeated Nelson 40 points to 25 at home, a high scoring encounter in the Swalec Plate.

Ynysybwl scored six tries to Nelson’s four in an open game. Shotton Steel scored a narrow win against Flint in the Swalec bowl, in a tight encounter. The Steelmen ran out 14-13 victors with very little between the two sides. Oakdale thumped Llandrindod Wells 58-5 in the Swalec Bowl.

Llandrindod Wells currently sit top of league 3 East Central C. Oakdale currently sit mid table in league 3 East A, but ran in 9 tries to Llandrindod Wells’s 1. Talywain defeated Risca 13-8 in a close encounter in the third round of the Swalec Plate.
