The 2014 winners overcame Fleur de Lys 19-3 in the opening round last weekend and will be hot favourites to reach the third round against a Sully side that received a walk-over in round one.

Another former winner, Amman United, who were unable to defend their title last season after promotion, are back in the competition this season and were awarded a walk-over in round one. They will entertain South Gower in the second round.

Penarth’s reward for their 38-36 home triumph over Llantwit Major, their first win of the season, is a trip to meet fellow Division 3A West side Pentyrch. Unbeaten to date this season, Pentyrch overcame Old Illtydians 20-12 in the first round.

Cardiff University went all the way to the semi-finals last season and another student side, Cardiff Met 2nd XV kicked-off their cup campaign with a 76-0 home win over Hirwaun last weekend. They will now face a tricky away trip to Tonyrefail in the next round.

Machen were top scorers in round one as they beat Cardiff Internationals 113-0. They will travel to meet fellow Division 3A East rivals Oakdale.
